This semester, CAP Lab partnered with students from the New World School of the Arts Visual Arts program and the Miami Dade College String Ensemble program.Drawing inspiration from Headwind, Susanne Schirato’s 2026 CAP exhibition exploring the interplay between nature — sky, earth and ocean — and human behavior through metaphor and movement, students developed original audiovisual works in response to the exhibition’s themes.For one night only, these contemporary installations will be presented throughout the museum’s opulent interiors, activating the historic spaces in unexpected ways.
